Welcome to the new site!

Why did we need a new site?

Well, the old site was… outdated. When Deepwater Pixel first started in 2019, our idea of how things would go were very different than the way they went. We think pretty much everyone can agree with that sentiment, given the events of the last couple of years. In any case, the site we started with was built with a particular goal in mind, and while we didn’t exactly find our target, we did find something much greater — partnerships. Our old site didn’t reflect the depth of the partnerships we have formed across industries, nor did it accurately portray quite what it is we did for our clients. We were continually surprising our clients with our capabilities and skillset, which eventually lead to the realization that we definitely have more to say.

Why should anyone care that we updated our site?

Without getting too far into it, there is a major problem undervaluation and a lack of appreciation for service industry products, websites and related services included. There are many services that advertise the prospect of creating an impressive, stable, and performant web property is easy to do, when it simply isn’t. There are a plethora of reasons that a website should not be cheap, but we must also acknowledge that there are a non-zero amount of reasons that a website must be cheap. We mention these ideas only to point out that we’re here to do something very specific for our clients. We work to provide an incredible web experience for the customers and audiences of our clients and partners (and their clients and customers, too).

This website rebuild includes a comprehensive and transparent Price List, and it has been linked in the top navigation bar. We’ve done this for a number of reasons, but first and foremost we decided to build this pricing list to inform those seeking web services what they should expect from our services. There are some clients that aren’t ready for our services, and there are some clients that have outgrown our ability to serve them effectively. We are honest about our role in our industry, as well as our capabilities, which is why the Price List now exists.

What’s next?

We have a slate of exciting announcements to make in the coming weeks and days, and expect the good news to keep flowing into next year!
